We’re pleased to announce the appointment of Maria Cahill as the next Principal of Nativity Preparatory Academy.
Maria comes to Nativity following 10 years of academic teaching and administrative experience at Siena Catholic Academy where she was the Dean of Students and managed the English Language Arts program. She is an experienced ELA teacher and well versed in curriculum development and the integration of technology into the classroom and developed and oversaw the peer observation program for the school faculty. She also oversaw professional development, community outreach and general administrative duties including parent communication, attendance and student records. A graduate of SUNY Brockport with a BS in English, Maria continued her education with a Master of Science in Education from her alma mater as well as an Advanced Certificate in School Leadership from the Warner School of Education at the University of Rochester.
A proven leader and educator with a dedicated commitment to serving the needs of all students and a passionate commitment to literacy and the educational traditions of the Roman Catholic faith, we are very pleased to have Maria join Nativity in the key leadership position.
