Come for a visit to learn more about our tuition-free middle school and what makes Nativity Prep special.

Welcome to Nativity Prep!

A Message from the President

Our 2022-23 school year is well under way and full of great things for our students and graduates! Before the school year started, supporters of Nativity Prep enjoyed a beautiful day of golf and great memories with the participants in the Billy D’Antonio Summer Classic. After two years of virtual events, it was especially meaningful to be able to share this experience in person – even though my golf game was very forgettable!

It was such a delight to see and speak to many supporters at the recent Friends of Nativity Breakfast event. Thank you to all who attended! This was our first in-person event since the pandemic to support our students and alumni, who greeted and performed for our esteemed guests. Their faces were lit up with excitement and confidence as they related their Nativity experiences, performed step dance, and sang in Nativity’s choir. As expressed by the speakers on the program, the support at events like this means so much to all of us at Nativity!

This year we have 60 students in 5th through 8th grade and over 60 graduates in high school representing many faith traditions, birth countries, and ethnicities. Our students are thriving academically at the end of the first marking period, with 60% achieving honor roll or higher. We can see the path of their growth ahead in the coming months as the school year progresses. Our 2022, 8th grade graduates have successfully transitioned to high school, and we are pleased to have had many of our alumni visit to support current students or to find a familiar place to study and enjoy seeing friends.

We have continued the practice of including “Family Time” in our busy day, which we began last year.  During “Family Time,” each student is part of a multi-grade, small group facilitated by a faculty or staff member.  The students are encouraged to discuss topics concerning “all the rest of their lives.” This brief but important daily meeting supports the development of our students’ vitally important social-emotional learning.

Support for Nativity allows our students and graduates to face the challenges of today’s world with expanded knowledge and greater resiliency. Our students and graduates continue to tell us – with gratitude – how much they appreciate knowing that their Nativity Prep community is always there to listen and assist.

We are grateful for you every day and will keep you in our hearts and minds during this holiday season. We pray that this season brings you time for relaxation and enjoyment with your family.  May the remaining year and the New Year bring you every blessing and great joy!
